Condit, Rockwell Have Connection
Both Had Cameos In 'Return Of The Killer Tomatoes'
WASHINGTON, 11:30 a.m. EDT July 11, 2001 -- Aside from attracting the unwanted glare of the public spotlight, Congressman Gary Condit and "Who Wants To Marry a Multimillionaire" groom Rick Rockwell have a direct connection.

The Smoking Gun Web site reports that both Condit and Rockwell had cameos in "Return of the Killer Tomatoes" in 1988.
The film, which was a sequel to the 1978 cult hit "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes," starred a fresh-faced George Clooney.
Rockwell tells the
Washington Post that he doesn't remember Condit, but feels bad for what he's been going through since Chandra Levy disappeared.
Rockwell says it's as if "all gloves are off." He says he knows from experience that if you spread enough manure around, people start to believe that "the person beneath the pile is what really stinks."
