The actor who played Pee-wee Herman is in trouble again.

According to the
New York Post, police in Los Angeles raided the house of Paul Reubens and have confiscated items in a child pornography probe. The raid took place Nov. 16, but Reubens has not been arrested or charged with any crime.
The
Post reported that the police obtained a proper search warrant, were voluntarily allowed into Reubens' house, and seized material including "vintage kitsch, erotic art, and photography collections" that the actor collected over the past 30 years.
A spokesman for Reubens said the actor is a victim of a blackmail, and the child pornography allegations are false.

Reubens was embroiled in a sex scandal in 1991 when he was arrested after committing a lewd act in an adult theater in Sarasota, Fla. The actor paid $135 in fines and court costs as a result, but the biggest damage came from the bad publicity that led to the cancellation of his "Pee-wee's Playhouse" television show.
Reubens has been featured in many films, including "Pee-wee's Big Adventure," "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and "Mystery Men."
Most recently he starred in the crime drama "Blow," and hosted the network television game show "You Don't Know Jack."
