'Survivor' Tonight: Who Won't Make It?

Colby Might Not Survive To Final Four

Ed Dykhuizen, Staff Writer

Tonight's episode of "Survivor" promises to be a fun one, as one contestant among Rodger, Colby, Elisabeth, Tina and Keith is denied the chance to be part of the final four.

After tonight, only two episodes remain -- including a final, two-hour special in which the field will systematically be narrowed down to one sole Survivor.

What We Know: One of the most interesting events in tonight's episode will be a clash between Keith and Colby over rice. Apparently, Keith will not ration the rice properly, and Colby will threaten to cut all ties with Keith. Meanwhile, the other three contestants will watch the conflict and jockey for position.

The tease from the end of last week's episode also showed that this week's reward challenge will involve contact, in the form of videos and letters, from the contestants' family members and loved ones. Expect lots of crying, and expect that the winner will spend time with someone from home.

And another video clip, this one available on CBS' "Survivor" site, showed that a challenge will involve being locked in chains and running around. Lord only knows what it could be exactly, but it appears to be physical, which means that Colby will probably win.

Who Will Go?: As we know from last week's intriguing vote, Colby is already on his way out. He and Amber were the only two not to vote for Amber -- apparently Colby was not in on the plan.

Therefore, tonight's petty spat with Keith should only solidify his status as the outsider. If he loses the immunity challenge, expect him to go.

However, it seems unlikely that he will lose the immunity challenge, especially since it appears to be a race of some kind. No one among Tina, Keith, Elisabeth and Rodger stands a chance of beating Colby in a physical challenge.

Judging from last week's vote tallies, it appears that an alliance has formed between Rodger, Tina, Elisabeth and Keith. But this is an alliance that simply can't stand. Since it comprises everyone except Colby, they can't have any backup plan to come into action if Colby wins immunity.

In that likely eventuality, new alliances would have to form. Colby could be readmitted to the fold -- and judging from his refusal to have any dealings with Keith, he could surprise everyone and hook up with Elisabeth and Rodger.

If this scenario plays out, Keith could be the man on whom to bet. My predictions are invariably wrong, but I'll still stake what little is left of my credibility on Keith being ousted tonight.
