GRANT COUNTY, Ky. -- A Kentucky woman is on the run after dozens of animals were found living inside her home in deplorable conditions.
And it's not the first time Annette Dorsey, of Grant County, Ky., is facing such accusations, Cincinnati television station WLWT reported Thursday.
Fifty-nine dogs and four cats were taken from the woman's home Wednesday night, according to police. Then, Thursday afternoon, 40 more of her dogs were found at the home of her daughter, WLWT reported. All of the animals -- more than 100 of them -- are being treated at the Grant County Animal Shelter.
Dorsey's three teenage children, including one who's autistic, also were living in the home when officials arrived. They also were taken away, WLWT reported.
The animals were living amid urine- and feces-covered walls and floors, and were confined to small areas. One dog lived in a fish aquarium. Vents were closed throughout the home, trapping odors inside.
The shelter is overwhelmed as it cares for the extra animals. To find out how to help, call (859) 824-9403, or visit

Police said Dorsey will face charges of endangerment, abuse and neglect, WLWT reported.
