WARSAW, Ky. -- It's been more than two years since the brutal stabbings in Galletin County that left two children dead and sent their mother and sister to the hospital.Carolyn Marksberry told WLKY's John Charlton she's frustrated that the judge refused Marco Chapman's request to fire his attornies, plead guilty and be put to death.Police said Marco Chapman stabbed 6-year-old Cody and 7-year-old Chelbi Sharon to death in their home.
Chapman also admitted to stabbing their sister Courtney, as well as robbing, raping and stabbing their mother 15 times.Investigators said Courtney survived the brutal attack by playing dead.Police tracked down Chapman in Shrewsbury, W.Va., hours after the slayings.
