Camm, a former Indiana State Police trooper, is charged with killing his wife, Kimberly, and his two children, Jill and Bradley, in their Georgetown, Ind., home in September 2000.

The jurors spent Monday morning looking at photos of the crime scene before asking the judge to be taken to Camm's home, NewsChannel 32's Abby Miller reported.

The jury looked at the garage in which the murders took place, and looked in each room in the home, Miller reported.

Lawyers on both side of the case interpreted aspects of the crime scene differently, Miller reported.

Stains on the back deck the prosecution said are evidence of a cleaned crime scene, is proof of gutter cleaning, according to defense lawyers.

Before the trip, jurors heard from Lisa Sowders, who helps run a crime scene business with her husband.

Sowders testified that on the day after the murders, Camm asked her repeatedly to clean the Ford Bronco that his children were killed in.

"That is very damaging," lead prosecutor Stan Faith said. "He didn't say clean up the house, clean up the garage, he said clean up the Bronco, and the most evidence in this case and the reason why Mr. Camm is in jail is in that Bronco."

Defense attorney Mike McDaniel said that Camm recalled asking Sowders to clean up the house.

"She's got her recollections and we think she's mistaken," McDaniel said.

Also Monday, William Gernert, the chief executive officer of Aegon, where Kim Camm worked, took the stand to testify about a phone call he had with David Camm the morning after the murders.

Initially, prosecutors said that they would prove that Camm called to ask about death benefits. However, during the testimony, Gernert said that he didn't remember if he or Camm brought up the benefits during the conversation, Miller reported.
