Camm is charged with killing his wife and two children in their Georgetown, Ind., home in September 2000.

NewsChannel 32's Abby Miller reported that the judge held a closed-door hearing after one of the jurors reportedly mouthed expletives, glared in Camm's direction, and cried when the tape was being played.

After the closed-door hearing, which included two court spectators, the juror was not removed from the panel.

Miller reported that Camm expressed little emotion in court while the two-hour tape was played.

Camm told the investigators on the tape that "somebody just doesn't pick out my house and murder my wife and kids ... It doesn't make any sense unless somebody was after my wife to rape her. But why in the hell would they have to kill my kids?"

Miller reported that Camm repeatedly told investigators that he did not kill his family. At one point Camm slammed his hands on the table and told the detectives to go and find the real suspect, Miller reported.

A cell phone call Camm made to an investigator the night of the murder was also played in court. Miller reported that Camm spoke about how much he loved his wife and children.

Camm Quote Camm sobbed uncontrollably when the tape was played, Miller reported.

Lawyers on both sides had different takes on Camm's reactions.

"I would hope that the jury would see that he can turn his tears on and off at will," prosecutor Stan Faith said. "He has very flat effect and very few emotions."

"He's convinced me that he's very upset about his and kids," Camm's lawyer Mike McDaniel told Miller.

McDaniel also said that his client ready to take the stand.
