Ky. Native Competes In New 'Survivor' Series Thursday

Zookeeper Goes For $1 Million In Guatemala

Once again, a Kentucky native will try to capture the $1 million prize on the CBS hit reality show "Survivor."

"Survivor: Guatemala" premieres Thursday at 8 p.m. on WLKY NewsChannel 32.

That's when you'll meet Cindy Hall, a native of Maysville.

Hall, 31, now works as a zookeeper in Naples, Fla., may have a leg up on the other contestants. She works every day with animals, and sometimes even paddles to work in a canoe, WLKY NewsChannel 32 reported. Hall thinks one characteristic of her personality might prove to be a weakness.

"I tend to be naive," she said. "I know there is evil in people, but I like to believe the good in everyone, and when someone proves me wrong, it devastates me. It kills me."
